You’re not going to feel like it
One of my favourite Ted Talks is one by Mel Robbins: “How to stop screwing yourself.”
She makes the point that you’re probably never going to feel like doing the things you should do. You need to practice just doing instead of over-thinking them or waiting for inspiration to strike.
Knowing and accepting this fact makes it far easier to do what you have to do. If you’re never going to feel like it, might as well do it now, right?
