Accept your idiocy
My favourite of the Eight Rules of The School of Life is number 4: Accept your idiocy.
Make loving peace with the fact that you’re an idiot. So am I. Neither of us really know what we’re doing and we’re going to be okay.
Accepting your idiocy means you don’t have to be scared of looking like an idiot. Also, you’re less likely to get into heated arguments because you can accept that neither you nor the other person has all the ‘right’ answers.
From one idiot to another: We’re going to be okay, just remember to breathe.
