Today I’d like to talk about consistency.
In one of his viral videos, Simon Sinek speaks about how consistency is the key to
It’s not the big actions or decisions that make all the difference. Often it’s the little things you do every day that lead to love growing or a healthy habit forming.
He uses the example of brushing your teeth. Brushing your teeth once is nothing. But brushing it twice a day for your whole life is the key to good oral hygiene. Going to the gym once won’t make a dent, but going consistently over a long period of time surely will.
You’re probably doing some things consistently without thinking about it or worrying about the long term effect. Like negative self talk, self doubt, and self criticism. Slowly but surely chip, chip, chipping away.
What if you changed the tone and decided to take on some positive habits and thoughts? Catapult your mind ten years into the future and just think of how that seed could grow into something big and beautiful.
